Raise Your Cup...

January 27, 2011

It is Thirsty Thursday at For The Love Of Blogs....So, in honor of today (which is really tomorrow...but not for you, today is really today...unless it is now Friday, then it is yesterday!  Does that make since?  Hold on, let me pour another martini.  One for you and one for me!  Ahh, that is better!) Anyhow, I decided to make a cocktail while I set to work on my latest post.  No really, it was the least I could do.  I consider it more like research, or a duty.  Each week, FTLOB will ask that we link up with a post containing yummy beverages, and I always feel a wee bit guilty for linking my blog up and not really having a tasty drink to share on Thirsty Thursday.  To ease this horrible guilt, I guess this will have to be a daily weekly challenge.

Raise Your Cup!

Yum! How good does this look! I miss Martinis over here. If you try to order one at a bar, they look at you like you are crazy for mixing olive juice and vodka. It is 10:30am and you have me craving one :) haha

The chocolate rim is the best part, but can get a little messy! I always think I should buy chocolate orange sticks and use them as a garnish!

You can use raspberry vodka, or peppermint schnapps with the chocolate liqueur!

Warning, they go down quite easily!!

Cheers!

And don't feel guilty ... I don't do recipes. I try to stick with hockey. I don't think they care. I participate in everything else, ya know?

I figured while I was having a drink, and it was Thirsty Thursday eve...I would snap a picture of my cocktail. I am normally a beer, wine, or Irish Whiskey gal, but these are so tasty...like dessert in a cup!!

Might have to have another tonight!!
