February 9, 2011

I have a  brass pole...
 in my living room...
where  I do this...
and in class I do this...
and someday....
I will be able to do this!

But for now...
I will keep working like this!

I HAVE A POLE, TOO! Only it is in my bedroom. I got the Flirty Girl Fitness pole for Christmas last year and IT IS HARD!! Did you take a class, have a video, etc? Can you believe that my husband has NEVER seen me on the pole (something he reminds me of all of the time)? I just don't think he would feel the same way about it after seeing me on it. LOL

Wow, thanks for all the comments...

Yes, that is me (no hockey mask, just picked photos without my face, because I am anonymous like that)! That is NOT me in the video, but I am looking forward to being able to do those moves...and get that body!

My husband reaps no benefit from having a pole in his living room. Our kids are on it all the time though! But I am sure he secretly thinks I am way cool!

I have taken classes for a little less than a year, and I am now training to be an instructor. However, I will always be a student, as this stuff is Hard with a capital 'H'!!

Cheers!

So wicked cool!! I'm a runner...but I have to admit that is slightly less exciting than the pole. Maybe it's time to install one here.

I cannot even tell you how I love your pole! I took classes a couple of years ago, hosted a naughty party in all hopes of purchasing one for my own living room at the time (because it would have been discounted) and never did it. Sad sad times because it is the sexiest workout ever. Jealousy for becoming an instructor for the art that is.

You. Are. Ridiculous. And I love it. I have done one pole dancing class, for a bachelorette party. I consider myself a very inshape person, and I was struggling! It takes so much strength. Good for you!

Is that you in those pics??? Hottie! I WANT a pole...have to convince hubby...because I need the workouts to go with the pole otherwise I will have NO idea what to do!! I'm thinking "Flirty Girl Fitness" ...kind of spendy, but Hey, it's a pole dance right??!!!

Wow, I am so impressed! That would be an awesome workout. Although I don't know if I could do the whole pole-in-the-living-room thing.

All I can say is OMG you are awesome. I wish that I could do something like that. I could only imagine if I had a pole in my house who would be on it (my quess my three year old would be all over it). Just wanted to stop by and tell you that I am now following you blog but not just because of your pole tricks...lol  The Mommy Chronicles

Hey! Thanks for stopping by! I loved your post today...found myself laughing out loud!

I'm moving to Derry, Ireland as soon as my EEA Family Permit is approved *sigh* Seems to be taking forever! It is a great place!

Yes, I do teach Zumba! I love it. I stopped teaching in the States a few weeks ago so I could focus on the move and I'm really anxious to get in to teaching it again once I get to Ireland. Questions anytime are welcome!!

I would love to be able to do that on the pole. You go girl! I'd have to find the courage and do it in my house first before I took it to the streets,er, in a gym I mean haha.

OMG I almost did a joke about that today, ha! Actually I so want to learn this but in po dunk Iowa it just isn't gonna happen unless I buy the pole myself. My fear is that my 6 year old would be better than me though!

Thanks for putting me at your sidebar. I'm kind of a goober, I don't know how to make a button and I so need to figure that one out. I woud love people to put me on their blog. Soon I'm hoping!

I've always been amazed at how much strength this must take.

You know...posting this just to make me jealous was mean. I'm very sensitive about my lack of pole dancing ability.

But I would have totally done the same thing to you, so I guess that makes us even. I'd definitely take your class!

Thanks for stopping by and for featuring me on your blog! Sorry I don't have a button. I'm a technotard.
