Mama Needs a Break!!!

March 4, 2011

THIS WEEK...

I went to unload the dishwasher, and it had not done a good job cleaning all of the dishes.  When I thought about the time it would take to run the dishwasher again...

I decided they were clean enough and put them away as is!

THIS WEEK...

My son was yelling from upstairs while I mopped the floor.

I am so tired of him yelling, I decided to ignore him....until I realized twenty minutes later he was yelling for some "toilet paper assistance".

THIS WEEK...

I told my children the last cookie had fallen on the floor and needed to be thrown away.

I shoved it in my mouth as they walked away crying!

Do you ever have moments when you are not the well-behaved woman you should be?

Haha! The toilet paper thing happened to me yesterday. Gracie yelled at me for 10 minutes before I realized she was sitting on the toilet waiting for me to help her.

Um, yes, minus the 'girl' part.

I've been grouchy today, but I also had bad news. I didn't get accepted into one of my top law school choices, my friend died yesterday, and the sun went away to be replaced by gray clouds.

On the plus side, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

Hahaha! Obviously I have no kids but being a teacher I do have those I need a break moment.

However, once I was asked to put a kids sleeves the right way in his coat (I was teaching 4 and 5 yr olds at this point) and as I did it another informed me that there was a spider. I thought he was joking as they knew I hated them. I was like, "No there's not...look." Then I shook the coat. I looked down and this giant, humongous spider was next to my foot. So, like any professionsl, I shrieked- loudly- threw the coat towards the kids and ran up the corridor to my door way shrieking and hopping about. Oh how mortified I was.
