TWO SONGS!! 

I know what you are thinking...you have been following my blog challenge, and you have noticed a certain someone has been mentioned everyday do far!  So today's challenge is two songs, and you are sure Sting will be mentioned once agin!  However, you are wrong.  Although I have a slight fascination with Mr. Gordon Sumner (a.k.a. STING)...it is more of a physical attraction vs. an aural attraction.  

Of course I would be lying if I told you I didn't own EVERY Sting/The Police album, but that doesn't mean Sting makes it into my top two song selections....

The video is pretty funny, and makes me giggle (especially at the 1.31 mark).  
The English Beat (also known as The Beat in the UK) is my all time favorite band! I recall getting in trouble in third grade during a read-a-thon, when I was caught listening to this 

on my Sony Walkman instead of reading!  
  

 There is nothing better than The Beat!!

THREE FILMS

To be honest, I hate going to the movie theatre!  For me to suggest a "date night" movie is a real surprise to my husband.  For some reason, I hate sitting in a room with many strangers who are eating popcorn by the handful.  The sound of people eating popcorn disgusts me!  

 The fact I only need to list three movies is quite simple for me....

"We're all pretty bizarre. Some of us are just better at hiding it, that's all."

Maybe it is my age, but this is a movie I love. 

(Was there a bad John Hughes film?)

"Hey, hey! What's This? I thought this was a party? LET'S DANCE!" 

I don't even want to think about what someone was thinking when they thought remaking this movie was a good idea!  

"You is kind. You is smart. You is important!"

On a rainy afternoon last week, I went to see this movie with a good friend.  I am sorry I had not read the book before seeing the movie, but none the less, I absolutely loved every moment of this movie! I immediately purchased the book, and I am looking forward to reading it (once we get settled in our new home for the season). 

 BONUS MOVIE...because I cannot break the streak!
